Final 3

It all starts with the attitude. Positive mentality breeds positive actions, and with a bit of luck, it leads to positive outcomes.

Leave the old self behind.

Ride out the storm for the next 3 months and start off a new chapter with aplomb!

Déja vu

Had a sudden urge this morning to go through some of my old posts on xanga. Not quite sure what exactly drove me to do that, but I did. And then an old video I posted there struck me.

It all feels so familiar…

Don’t wanna hear the news
What’s going on; What’s coming through
I don’t wanna know; Don’t wanna know
Just wanna hide away; Make my escape
I want the world; To leave me alone
Feels like I feel too much; I’ve seen too much
For a little while; I want to forget

I wanna be numb
I don’t wanna feel this pain no more
Wanna lose touch
I just wanna go and lock the door
I don’t wanna think
I don’t wanna feel nothing
I wanna be numb
I just wanna be
Wanna be numb

Taken away from all the madness
Need to escape
Escape from the pain
I’m out on the edge
About to lose my mind
For a little while
For a little while
I wanna be numb

I don’t wanna think
I don’t wanna feel nothing
I wanna be numb
I don’t wanna feel this pain no more
Wanna lose touch
I just wanna go and lock the door
I don’t wanna think
I don’t wanna feel nothing
I wanna be numb
I just wanna be
Wanna be numb
I just wanna be
Wanna be numb

Oh, the madness…

Match week 1

A weekend of soccer matches. Lost one, won one. The first lost with Bethesda FC was a bit disappointing, and I’d rather not mention the final score of the game. The second game with Rock Creek United was a good win, with a final score of 3-2. Probably shouldn’t have let our opponents score their second goal, but oh well, a win is a win.

As for my own performance — the Bethesda FC game was not bad, made a few good passes, tackles and interceptions. The Rock Creek United game was kindda killing me, since my legs were already half way gone before game even started, due to the Bethesda FC game on the previous day. However I did managed to dribble past two defenders, twice. Not bad I suppose, with tired legs.

Still finding it hard to believe I could let myself go through all this again.
I don’t deserve this.
No.
